This month, Watters aired an interview with a masked individual billed as an “Antifa whistleblower.” The guest presented claims about past involvement with far-left extremism, but the program did not provide independent verification of those claims.
Within days, online observers highlighted similarities between the masked guest and a prior guest, Ramon “Mundo” Mendoza, who Watters described in December 2023 as a former Mexican Mafia member. The resemblance prompted questions about whether the two appearances feature the same person under different aliases.
Several media figures weighed in on social media. Journalist David Pugliese commented, “It looks pretty much like the same guy…”
The Majority Report host Sam Seder mused about the idea that a former Mexican Mafia member might appear on Jesse Watters’ program and wondered what it would mean for someone trying to get a message out on Fox News.
Conspiracy theories circulated about the masked man’s identity, with some suggesting figures like Robert J. O’Neill, the former Navy SEAL noted for his involvement in counterterrorism efforts, due to perceived similarities in appearance and media connections. Others floated names such as Michael Rapaport or Jon Moxley, though these claims lack corroborating evidence.
