Fast Cleanup and Recovery Efforts for Los Angeles Firestorm Survivors
In less than 30 days, federal and state crews have nearly completed the cleanup of hazardous debris from the Eaton and Palisades fires. This is part of a larger initiative to assist survivors as they recover and rebuild in Los Angeles.

Completion of Hazardous Debris Cleanup
U.S. EPA crews, along with state and federal partners, have reached a 99% completion rate. Only around 100 properties, which are harder to access, remain. They have cleaned up hazardous materials from thousands of residential parcels.
